Brock Naeve

Founder and Managing Principal of Affirm Partners, Brock leverages his background in law and private equity to drive human capital strategy and talent sourcing across legal, investment management and corporate organizations nationwide.

Prior to founding Affirm Partners, Brock started his career as a corporate attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he handled M&A and other sophisticated transactions for clients in energy, industrials and other industries. He later joined a middle-market private equity fund focused in the real estate industry, where he served in an investment professional capacity as well as managing legal and compliance functions.

Brock holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. During his time at UT, he served as President of The BBA Energy Finance Group and Editor-in-Chief of The Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. He was elected into the Texas Friar Society for making a “significant contribution” to The University of Texas.

Since founding Affirm Partners in 2017, Brock has personally handled hundreds of client engagements for leading organizations nationwide. His breadth of experience and extensive network across the legal and private equity industries allow him to function in a trusted advisor role, driving value for our clients beyond a traditional recruiter.

Brock is resident in our Houston, TX office.
